At least Paris Hilton is consistent, and the socialite and heir to the hotel fortune is doing what she does best. It seems that a quiet night at home is extremely hard for her; she has been arrested yet yet again. The concept of what the word illegal, as in illegal substances, implies has apparently escaped her. She was busted in Las Vegas for having cocaine on her person. This is her 3rd substance bust in as many months. She has already been arrested twice for possession of marijuana.
Paris Hilton thinks it rocks to hot box
Paris Hilton was evidently cruising the Las Vegas strip, driven by her boyfriend in an SUV. According to the New York Post, a motorcycle cop smelled pot smoke coming from the vehicle and pulled them over. As her personal effects were being searched, she asked the police officer if she could get some lip balm from her purse. At that point, a baggie containing a small amount of cocaine allegedly fell out of her handbag. Wrapping papers that could typically be used to roll marijuana cigarettes were also allegedly in her purse. She was arrested, and the Paris Hilton cocaine saga began after two separate Paris Hilton marijuana arrest incidents.
Paris faces real time
There were approximately .8 ounces of cocaine in the bag. Possession of cocaine carries felony possession of a controlled substance charges. The Cheech to her Chong, Harold to her Kumar, or Cy Waits only was booked on a misdemeanor charge of DUI. Hilton of course, denies that the baggie was hers. She says she had lent her bag to a friend of hers, or perhaps a one armed man. Within hours, her Twitter page was alight with support from her fans. Nevertheless, the charge may be contested. It is believed the search may have not been proper. If convicted, she stands to serve up to 15 years and up to $500,000 in fines.
Not the very first time someone has utilized that line
This is the third illegal drug arrest for the socialite. She was arrested for possession of marijuana in July in South Africa, just following the 2010 World Cup. She was arrested again, days later, for the same crime in Corsica. , there is something that should be said in fairness. On both occasions, she was let go. .
